Today we finished the last of the assigned walks around London, which is such a relief. My feet feel like they've been run through the meat grinder. Delicious, I know. It was such a beautiful day today; no rain at all and just sunshine. It actually got really hot this afternoon, and I was glad to not have to wear a coat.
We got up early to hit up Portobello Road Market, which is just awesome and indescribable. People, and food, and antiques, and clothes, and everything else in between all over the place.
This was George Orwell's house on Portobello Road. He wrote 1984 and Animal Farm, among other things.
The view of the entrance/exit, which is nowhere near the crowded mess the rest of the street is behind me.
